Welcome to “The Great Secret”, an introductory four-week course about the 'Ancient Walk-About Way'.

Avatar Adi Da Tells us that ever since human beings began wandering the Earth (in an ancient “Walk-About” culture), there has been Divine Revelation in this world. That Revelation has always been most clearly and unambiguously apparent in the Person of Spiritual Realizers. And the even ancient Way of Real Spirituality has always been the devotional relationship to such a Realizer, based on Spiritual recognition of that One. The relationship to the Spiritual Master is the time-honored “Great Secret” of Spiritual growth.

Though this Law and Truth predates recorded human history, it has, from the earliest dawn of writing, been noted repeatedly. You will find it in the sayings of the early Christian Fathers, in the ancient sacred Texts of India, in the living traditions of Tibetan Buddhism, in the beautiful poetics of Sufi instruction—in fact, you will find this key secret Revealed again and again at the heart of every esoteric Spiritual tradition. Why? Because that is the unique process by which True Spirituality works for real.

Can the real process of Spiritual Realization be somehow modified to fit in with the modern predilection for self-help, and independent, anti-authority attitudes? Avatar Adi Da Compassionately Answers, “No”—the real process of Divine Revelation and True Spirituality simply does not work in that manner. Therefore, we must go deeper than our superficial “modern” prejudices to encounter the Truth of the One Great Law.

This esoteric process of Realization, the Guru-devotee relationship or “ancient Walk-About Way”, is not limited to the lifetime of the Realizer’s physical human form. During the Realizer’s lifetime, he or she creates Spiritual Gifts that can serve the ongoing continuation of the process. Avatar Adi Da passed from His physical human Form in November of 2008, but the Reality-Way of Adidam continues fully through His Gifts of Transcendentally Spiritually Empowered Sanctuaries, a full and complete Teaching Revelation, the Stories of His interaction with devotees, a community of practitioners of Adidam, new forms of visual Art that directly convey the Awakened Condition—and other forms of Agency and Instrumentality that will enable the direct relationship with Him (As He Is) to be a unique and uniquely effective transformative Spiritual Process forever.

This course is intended to provide you with the space to “consider” these matters at depth, to give you a safe space apart from the daily noise of ordinary life to feel your heart’s deepest wants and needs. It is also designed to give you the Graceful opportunity to directly encounter the Living Divine Revelation of His Divine Presence, Avatar Adi Da Samraj, Who offers a uniquely transformative Spiritual relationship to each and every one who is moved to embrace the Reality-Way of Adidam.

Encountering Avatar Adi Da is a unique experience, and it is helpful to be prepared for this. When first encountering the Pure egoless Force of Reality that Avatar Adi Da Transmits and, quite literally, Is, it is common to find yourself feeling suddenly disoriented or uncomfortable—Avatar Adi Da’s Revelation-Word, and even His Very Presence, runs counter to what we generally accept as the unquestionable foundations of day-to-day life. You may also, or alternatively, find yourself responding with a sudden ecstasy of heart-breaking recognition, or direct intuition, that Reality Itself is Appearing to you in and via the Very Form and Person of His Divine Presence, Avatar Adi Da Samraj. In any case, no matter what apparently positive or apparently negative responses arise, simply understand that an authentic and profound process has begun to happen in you and, as best as you can, just allow the process to unfold however it may for you.

When you first connect to the teleconference, please announce yourself by saying your name and where you’re located.

Before you speak, please say your name first so listeners know who is speaking.

It’s very difficult to understand what is being said when more than one person is talking so be mindful to not speak when someone else is. Please wait until they are finished before you speak.

VOIP tools like Skype may generate noise so be prepared to use a land line phone if your VOIP tool is creating noise.

Likewise, cell phones or speaker phones sometimes generate background noise that will disturb other participants. If it becomes evident that this is so for your cell / speaker phone, please be prepared to use a land line phone.

Be mindful to use a quiet room when on a conference call because noise in your room may carry over into the line and disturb the class.

In order to minimize background noise, it helps to mute your phone until you are ready to speak.
